About Us
Wayne County Advanced Life Support Services went in service on October 7, 2002, providing care with two flycars, and one transport ambulance through a joint effort with Monroe Ambulance. In 2004 we started to have volunteer coverage on the weekends to try and fill in the gaps with advanced life support care, and see how much of a need there was for service during this time frame. We also converted our agency to a first response advanced life support service. Beginning in May 2005, paid weekend coverage was added. on June 4th of 2007, through a joint effort with the Sodus Town Ambulance and the Walworth Fire Department we expanded to offer service with two additional vehicles during the week. We are available for service weekdays from 6am to 6pm, and weekends from 8am to 6pm. We are NOT a 24 hour service as we are here to supplement your local agencies, not replace them.
Annual Call Statistics:

Although we are a County agency and do receive tax money, we also bill for services to offset the burden to taxpayers. Most times your health insurance does cover emergency ambulance service. If you have received a bill and have questions, you may contact our billing agency:
